Established to deal in food supplement tablets only, the company in its first year stepped into the dermatology field as well. Our long term focus shall remain on these two fields, but we are looking for opportunities to diversify.
When we started, we dreamt about our products making channels into the daily lives of people. That dream is still alive. For that reason, in a scenario where the end-consumer has many choices, we aim to offer the highest possible quality at reasonable price. Only right decisions at right time can help us fulfill our dream. Wrong decisions at right time or vice versa will only hold us back from attaining our goal. It is the realization of this fact by every member of Essentials Healthcare that it not only survived, in fact prospered during the time when no business could remain insulated from the ripples of the financial crises.
Regarding investments and growth, it's my conviction that decisions for future should be based on existing resources, which must be used to their maximum potential. After all, a responsible business results in a better business. Therefore, we have always promoted integrity, professionalism, teamwork and responsiveness at our organization. In reaching our objectives, we had and we will, at all times, act ethically in dealing with all our stakeholders.
Lastly, as a business, our focus is to balance the interests of the three major stakeholders, associates, partners and consumers. In ways which work to everyone's mutual benefit and success.

About Us
Since the inception of this privately owned company our team is working with ever increasing vigor to meet the goals and materialize the vision of the Chairman. We currently have fifteen products under the company's banner. Apart from these, we are also providing franchise services to some local companies in the province of Punjab. Our medical representatives visit doctors in numerous cities of Pakistan assisted by a strong network of distributors.
We are already dealing in food supplements and dermatology items, which include vitamins and minerals tablets, sun guard cream, anti-dandruff shampoo and oil, acne gel, melasma cream and medicated soaps.
We ensure that our suppliers procure superior quality materials for our products and apply high quality standards in the manufacturing processes; it enables us to provide the user the highest quality according to the international standards.
Although the Chairman's keen interest in food supplement tablets was the driving factor in the establishment of the company, however, we now intend to broaden its scope into other medical fields as well.
History
The foundation of the organization was laid by Mr. Sheikh Tahir Ali when the world's economy was going through hard times and businesses in Pakistan couldn't escape from the financial catastrophe. He started business as a small retail pharmacy in 1971, but soon stepped into imports and whole selling, distributing the products all over the country.
However, with the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and Iranian revolution the imports were gradually reduced to nil as the items he dealt in were increasingly smuggled to Pakistan. Not losing hope, the organization under Mr. Sheikh Tahir Ali continued to become one of the leading retail pharmacy stores of the country.
In 2008, it was decided to take a step forward by taking OEM service for our own product; herbal food supplement was launched. Later in the start of 2009, we introduced our first dermatology product - a sun block cream. Likewise seven other dermatology products and six food supplements were introduced in a short span three years. In 2010 a franchiser was appointed in Karachi. In early months of 2011 we started our operations in other cities via our field-force (medical representatives).
Like this, within a short span of four years Essentials Healthcare grew from four to thirty full time members cum associates engaged in different departments.
